You don't. You must use WiFi to download apps over 150 MB.
It is a restriction that was put in place at the request of cell providers when the iPhone was first released and the limit has been raised on a couple of occasions. Apple has not opinion on how you manage your plan.
This is definitely something very annoying. I have unlimited cellular, I don't have unlimited WiFi, I should be able to make the decision to download over cellular. I assume apple thinks we are children who don't understand implications of using cellular data? I can't think of another reason why there's no longer an option to do so.
I have just switched from Samsung and this definitely a nasty surprise. I have tried to work arounds but honestly this could be a deal breaker. Honestly i think I’m about to return this phone. Between this with no headphone jack it honestly makes this a very inconvenient thing. I don’t have WiFi all the time and as others say. We must be children who can’t manage our own plans.
Annoying too, I had to go to work and I don't have WIFI there, now I'm stuck on half of the applications on "waiting", Apple should think on letting people decide what to do or to specify the download size limit, whatever, I'm stuck till tonight to continue downloading. >:(
This is assinine to restrict a user's ability to download large file apps, my current cell plan is over twenty gigs of data a month, many of my friends have an unlimited data plan and yet we MUST use wifi? And that's why this will be my one and only apple product. #yourtoocontrolling
I bought such a expensive iPhone X and it does not gives the option to download over 150 mb on mobile data what a crap phone I bought now I really regret. Sorry to say other android phone Don’t have these problems
