Remote access to iTunes library?

Hi. I am going abroad for a few weeks and taking my iPad with me to watch Films/TV Shows on. Unfortunately the capacity isn’t big enough to sync all the content I want to watch onto it. Is there a way I can set up my iTunes library on my Mac to remotely access it (both paid for and converted files) whilst abroad? For example, if I only have enough space for episodes 1-5 of a TV Show on my iPad, I can delete them and then download episodes 6-10 (from my iTunes library back home) over Wi-Fi? Any help or alternative suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You should be able to add non-DRM content to iCloud Drive, Dropbox or similar services and playback after downloading to the device. I'm not entirely sure how you free up space after watching without deleting the item in question. There doesn't seem to be the equivalent of Remove Download that you find in the native media apps with purchased media.

Thanks. Are there any options in regards to accessing or storing my films/tv shows externally? Can I use iCloud Drive as an option?

No, you cannot access the library on your computer remotely, but your purchases can be streamed or downloaded directly from the iTunes Store. If you want similar access to your music collection, but not videos, then you could Subscribe to iTunes Match - Apple Support.
