Apple Watch, Digital Crown Spinning not recognized

My Apple Watch Series 2 has issues with Digital Crown. Pressing on digital crown is recognized, but spinning does not. Noticed this when apply the Water Lock. Had to restart and attach phone to charger to force the Water Lock off. I tried cleaning as specified (running under warm water for 10-15 seconds while pressing/turning digital crown, then letting watch dry) and still no response.

Again, pressing the crown works, but for example turning the volume up and down when listening to music, does not register - nor any other actions work when turning the digital crown.

Any quick fixes to this issue? Is this common? Or, do I need to take in to Apple Store for further inspection.
