I have a brand new MacBook pro and the magic mouse keeps losing connection. Can you help?
I have a Apple magic mouse 1 and I know longer use Apple recycle AA batteries anymore and it won't hold a charge any more when I charge it for a full charge and I use my battery tester and it had only 1% charge after a full charge. The problem is take out your AA batteries from your magic mouse and clean the + and the - where the AA batteries sits and clean the contact points with a soft cloth to rub out the battery residue so you have a clean contact and no problems afterwards. Often times when you replace the old one with a new one you have to clean the contact points where it says + or - when inserting new batteries inside your magic mouse. Batteries residue builds up after time when replacing your AA batteries often when it get to a point that you have to change it and in System Preference it will tell you how much charge is left in your Magic mouse batteries. Look at the far top left corner of your computer screen and look for the black Apple icon and click on it and a window will drop down and look for system preferences and look for the icon mouse and click on it and it will tell you how much charge you have left on your AA batteries every time. With cleaner contact points for the + and - contact points you have a better charge instead.
