iPhone to iPad sharing photos

I received a replacement iPad due to my battery failure. Apple does not replace the battery instead they send a replacement device. I could not restore all info due to an error when trying to restore. Apple is currently working on that issue.

My problem now is my photos that are on my iPhone will not stream to my iPad. I’ve checked all of the settings from my iPhone and duplicated them on my iPad. My iPad does not show a photo streaming album.

any help will be much appreciated, Thank you!

If Apple is still working on getting the restore to work and are hopeful that they can do so, you may want to wait for that. The down side is that the backup is getting staler if you are using the new iPad.

Another approach to consider is switching from My Photo Stream to iCloud Photo Library for syncing pictures between your devices. Depending on how many photos you have and how much of your iCloud storage you are already using, you may need to rent more.

Yes, a new photo taken on my iPhone duplicates to my iPad. Is there a way to copy my old iPhone photos to my new iPad?

If you are using My Photo Stream, that's expected. That service is not retroactive; photos are uploaded to the servers when they are taken (or saved), and the servers only claim to keep photos online for 30 days or so. Older photos would not be pushed to the iPad. If you take a new photo on your phone, does it get propagated?
