MacBook Pro can't find iPhone for Apple Pay
Any one else having this issue? for awhile now whenever I try and make a purchase in Safari with Apple Pay I get an error message that says my Mac can't find my iPhone and to make sure it's near by, on the same wifi, and has bluetooth active. All of these things are true, I've even tried connecting to my phone via hotspot (both via BT and Wifi) and it still doesn't work.
Both have the same Apple ID signed in and the check for "allow payments on Mac" is on under settings in my iPhone.
Wondering if anyone has a fix or the same issue. I'm running an iPhone 8 with iOS 11.4.1 and a MBP with MacOS 10.13.6 (it's a pre-touch bar 2015).
