I am getting repeated pop-ups saying "The page you're looking for can't be found"
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)
2018-09-08 08:03:45 Last Shutdown Cause: -60 - Corrupt filesystem
I would also
Boot into Recovery (Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities> Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD. If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.
Recovery http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718
Well I see no hot link to test— it is unclear from your screenshot, where you are at.
Sounds like the page is no longer? A 404 error?
You can Try renewing the DHCP
>System Preferences>Network>Advanced>TCP/IP> Renew DHCP Lease
If it is an outdated security Certificate or non https site, it may be a simple warning.
Did you try a different browser to see how it responds? This would be a first step.
Any and all sites seem to generate the "Join Presto" pop-up. I have run the DHCP release to no effect. I have run etrecheck:

Can you supply a link to the problem site.
Or is this each and every site you try to visit.
please advise
You can also try running the http://etrecheck.com to get a good look at your system config. Post the out put if you have trouble interpreting the results in an effort to resolve your issue.
Thanks again Leroy...it has been a few days since I did everything mentioned in these posts, and (fingers crossed!) those pop-ups have stopped!
