Cannot Create Account

an identical outlook account already exists??

Go to Settings > Accounts & Passwords. Locate the account and either delete it or enable Mail.

I deleted my mail app from my phone and reloaded it. Now it won’t let me add my outlook email account back in. This happened after I updated my phone to iOS 12 After updating to iOS 12 my mail app no longer worked properly. I had one outlook email account attached to it. I deleted the account and tried to add it back in but it wouldn’t allow it. I then deleted the mail app and reloaded it. I still get the same message when I try to add the outlook email account back in. It tells me it cannot verify the outlook account. I don’t understand what happened. I can still access my email account on the web however.

Adding a problem email account I have been using Outlook but my email account quit working in outlook. On my iPad I deleted the account but cannot reload it. is it possible to have both my gmail account and my sbcglobal account loaded into the Apple Mail account instead of Outlook. If so, how?? Outlook.com email not working on iPhone For the last 24 hours or so, none of my family members can access their Outlook.com email on our iPhones via the native iOS mail app. It is working on our Macs, through web browser and if I use the Outlook app on iPhone. Only spot its not working is through the native mail app in iOS. I've tried the typical troubleshooting steps like removing the account on my iPhone but now I cannot get it re-added as I get an error message that it cannot verify my account. I know it's not password or account related as I was able to add the account via the Outlook app. Anybody else having this issue?

Thanks! I feel stupid now. Literally sat for 3 hours trying different things.
