External usb camera to iPad/iPhone iOS

it seems there is no way to connect an external camera/microscope to be used as a functioning image device within iOS.

The ‘accessory requires too much power’ is not solved by using the USB 3 camera adapter for the camera/microscope to be utilised, I assume it would only serve as additional power source for ‘data transfer’.

does anyone know of any app that could bridge this problem so I can use an external camera with the iPad/iPhone with the ’Lightning to USB Camera Adapter’?

surely there is a workaround, my sundial abacus Mayan Callander tells me its 2018?
