How to find the serial number of Mac

When I open system preferences , click on iCloud is there any secret method from this particular location to find out the serial number of my Mac .

I know the method take cursor on apple logo and click on about this Mac but I don't want to use this method as everyone can find it .

Please don't post apple article , using Mac OS high Sierra 10.13.6

Open system preferences - iCloud under security section - devices - tap once over the device it will show your Mac serial number , click on done and quit system preferences .
