Which slow mo footage to use.

Just wondering what is the best way for slow mo footage. I have an iPhone 8+. Should I record on the phone using the slow mo option, or record at normal speed at the higher frame rate and slow it down in Final Cut Pro?

There is very little control in tbe Camera application, as you know you basically just choose Video or Slo-Mo and that’s it.

I much prefer to record using an app like Filmic Pro (there are others, this is the one I use).

Why? Because you can record in different frame sizes and frame rates (like 25fps which is the norm here), control bit rate, and more. There is a whole lot of flexibility.
