Mid 2011 iMac slow and beach balling

Our iMac has been causing issues for some time now, I have it backed up with time machine to our time capsule and our pics/vids are kept on an external hard drive.

My wife uses the computer mostly for school work (school teacher) and needs many apps and internet pages open at times.

Perhaps RAM upgraded is all i need, but please view my report below to see if other suggestions may be needed or if any issues or found. I'm not great with computers, but have enough experience to get me by.
