Black bar on right side of display screen.

Hi! About a month ago, a black 1 inch bar appeared in the right side of my screen. And I can't get rid of it. I thought maybe it might be a hardware issue, but Im not sure. One minute the display was fine, the next I open up my laptop and the black bar is there. It extends from the top to the bottom if the screen.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016), macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)
