Accidentally deleted iMovie project.

I have version 10.1.5

I have accidentally deleted my project from the projects tab. I meant to delete a different video but didn't look at which video I was deleting. I have spent probably over 300 hours editing this hour long video and now all of my editing is gone. I was wondering if there was any possible way to recover the edits? All of the raw media is still there but my actual project is gone. Someone please help me. I'm stupid and didn't install time machine so I am basically stuck.

I tried all of the simple solutions such as looking in the trash, trying the undo button, looking in the iMovie library. All have failed and I really just want to restore the edits.

Hi,

Your fully intact project probably is backed up in the iMovie Backups folder. To get there, go your your desktop Finder Menu and follow this file path: Go/Home/Library/Containers/com.apple.iMovieApp/Data/Library/Caches/iMovie Backups. (If you don't see a Library folder after you click on Home, try holding down the Option key as or after you click on Home.) When you get to the backups folder you will see a list of backups of your Libraries. Click on one that is dated just before you deleted your project. iMovie will open and your project should be found in the projects browser library as usual.
