How do I insert my signature into a pages document?

Is there a way to create my signature so that I can insert it into a pages document? I basically am trying to digitally sign a letter.

If you have a USB digitizer connected to your Mac, the Ink panel may appear in System Preferences. Ink will let you have Pages open, and may allow you to capture your signature or printed text into the Pages application. I don't have the means to test this, so it may or may not work.


The signatures that Preview allows you to capture are restricted to Preview and open PDF, so not portable to other documents.
