hi all. I recently updated my 6s plus iPhone to iOS 12 and after updating can't see my phone on iTunes 12.8. any help?
I am using MacBook Pro with macOS high Sierra.

You could wait for Apple to release a new build, but reading around it seems that if you have your iPhone connected and unlocked and reinstall iTunes 12.8 then your Mac may offer to install an additional update to work with the iOS 12 device.

Thanks for letting me know. I will be trying it later today. Apple support assured me the other day that the updates would resolve the problem, but I won't hold my breath!
I wish I had a solid solution for you. Other than trying again I don't know what else to suggest.

Interesting, there was a link for Mac until today on that page.
Very interesting. You can find links to the Mac versions of 12.6 at iTunes for Mac installers however they are not compatible with Mojave.

I have tried downloading 12.8 and then the additional software 3 times and the download always fails.

Unfortunately I've upgraded to Mojave and it won't allow iTunes 10.8 to be reinstated

I was having same problem with iTunes 12.8 and iPhone 6. I downloaded the iTunes version as suggested and now all is good. Thanks.
