As far as I know, we should be able to activate a shortcut sent to Siri from the Watch, by telling Siri the same phrase we recorded on the phone.
However, I'm not being able to do it and found no place to enable it.
Does anyone know if this is not working, or if it is a hardware limitation, like Raise to Siri?

It took a while (about 1 day) for the shortcuts to get recgnized by Siri on the Watch. When they did, I understood about the need to have the app running in the watch.

I did the same thing and it helped with a lot of shortcuts. But some of the shortcuts that are multi-step still fail. For example, the ”work eta” shortcut freezes halfway through when I try to activate it from my watch. It can’t load the direction part of the shortcut. Overall shortcuts still seems buggy to me.
I have tried all kinds of different shortcuts in the Apple watch but i keep getting “I don’t recognize that command” from siri. Not sure what’s wrong. It’s been over 24 hours since I created the shortcuts without improvement.

Since day 1 of iOS 12 release I can't run shortcuts on the watch. All the requirements are fulfilled.
Strangely, I can even run them on the homepod, but not the watch.
Even the new 5.0.1 update didn't fixed the problem. I restarted both devices and tried a lot of things apart from signing out and back in to iCloud. I don't want to do that, because it is too much of a hassle.
It is very difficult to contact apple support for these kind of problems.
Same here. Watch & Phone use the same Apple ID but Siri Shortcuts will not work on Apple Watch 3 (LTE) but on my iPhone 8 everything works fine with Shortcuts.
It began this way to me. I don't know what triggered the sync, but after sometime (about a day) it began working. Perhaps someone from Apple can clarify.
This is infuriating watch seem to be natural way of invoking Shortcuts through Siri, and it just_does_not_work!
I had the same problem. It was driving me crazy. I ended up on unpairing my watch and repairing with my latest back up for my watch and it worked right away. It’s not too much of a hassle to unpair and repair it just takes about 10 minutes and you’ll have to add the last three digits of your credit cards if you’re using your watch for Apple Pay but it seem to work fine and fixed the problem me.
Where are the days we could say "It just works"?
I mean the fact that I must search for a possibility to fix this problem on this forum is really too much hassle don't you agree?
