apple watch ringing when answered

Using bluetooth ext. speaker in car, the apple watch continues ringing after answering on bluetooth device. How can I get 'em to stop doing this?

This sounds like a problem in signalling between watch and iPhone. I suggest you start with a forced reset on your watch and iPhone.

If that doesn't help try unpairing and re-pairing the watch.
