Don’t/can’t find the Animoji app on iMessage app bar

Just updated to IOS 12 on my 7plus, Iknow the app is on imessage but I searched it on imessage app and it won’t pop up

Animoji I do not have the monkey on my menu bar on either my iPhone 8+ and iPad Pro. The previous explanation does not help as I have no idea how to search ‘iMessage apps’ the screen used does not seem to apply to me. Thanks

Certain iMessage apps not working In my iMessage app, there are little buttons at the bottom for Animoji and Animoji stickers. When I press on one of those things, it doesn’t show up. It shows a little gray boarderline indicating that it has been pressed but Animoji doesn’t show up. If only works when I search it up in the iMessage App Store and press “open”

Animoji I am a user of iPad Air 2 and I have the latest iOS version that is 13.4.1 on my ipad. When I open the iMessage app I am unable to see an Animoji/Memoji maker. There is no option to make/use Animojis. Please guide me what to do

Looks like you'll need at least an iPhone X to use that feature:
