How do you find the update music library option?

It is the opposite for me. I added some music from CD on my iMac and the changes I made to the albums and artwork are saved. Synced iCloud and iTunes Match still missing artwork on my iPhone.

ALL MY MUSIC IS GONE AFTER I DID THIS! Why???

That doesn’t make any sense, sounds like a pass the buck answer. I have 170GB of free space. So this answer is not a fix.

We have the same problem. I don’t know how to fix it, I’ve tried all the suggestions here but it didn’t work...

yes but that also deleted all songs from your device, which is not an option for me considering i have 2000+ songs.

Try clearing out space in your phone. The same issue happened with me despite me trying out all the actions recommended (iCloud music on/off in settings etc). Realised the issue was to do with storage space. Clear out some unused apps, delete a few photos and it should work it’s supposed to.

None of the stuff in this comment section worked for me except taking my iCloud off the phone and adding it again along with my apple music. That only lasted for a little while but what actually worked for me was just deleting apps and freeing up space on my iPhone.

Have you tried my method above?

Select an album in your library that is not downloaded to phone. Download it to phone. Once it’s done. Delete the downloads. All the blank album artwork showed up instantly.

Turn icloud music off and on or reset your phone and wipe the data

I did the recommended "turn iCloud Music off then on again," and it worked for some of the more recent songs I added, but now about half of my music is missing artwork in a completely random way
