iPhone XS Max and iTunes

Got my new phone today. Been setting it up to mirror my iPhone X. That went well. However iTunes will not show the new phone. iTunes will still show all my other devices. I have tried this phone on two computers running iTunes. Both will not display the phone. I have already done several things. I have reinstalled the drivers per Apple site instructions. Also deleted the Lockdown folder, rebooted, and still the same thing. BOTH computers (PC's) see the phone and it shows up it;s just iTunes that doesn't see it. Any advice?

Have you installed iTunes from the Microsoft Store? If so try uninstalling it and download a fresh copy from this set of direct iTunes installers links. Right-click the downloaded file and use Run as administrator.

reinstall itunes through apple.com, this fixed the problem for me, although app store didn't say there was an update!

What anti-virus software do you have? It's about the only other thing I can think of.

Just downloaded and will starting using that. I already use Acronis for backing up most of the stuff but this I will just for iTunes. Thanks for all the great help!

Yes I have done all of that as well and I still have the same issue. When I go to the phone and click nothing shows for it doesn’t go any further with a drop down as well

Which version of iTunes is installed? The Microsoft Store version, or the direct download from Apple? Have you got 12.9.1.4 yet?
