iPhone XS Max does not want to turn on

I got my iPhone XS Max, 64GB, Silver, today, from UPS via T-Mobile and just got it out the box, tried turning it on using the power button on the Right side of the phone and won't turn on. I've Google Searched the issue to see if anyone has posted anything and did not find anything about powering on the new phone. Tried to plug it into the charger with the cable it came with and its been charging for the past 20 minutes and still, nothing. Please advise.

Congratulations on your new iPhone Xs Max! It's my understanding you've just received your new iPhone and it won't power on. I can definitely see how this could be concerning. Trying to charge the iPhone was a great step. The remaining steps in the link below can help with this issue:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen

Let us know the results. Please additional troubleshooting steps you may have tried.
