I cannot find epson printer software on my MacBook air

I am using a MacBook air High Sierra and usb connected it to an Epson Photo Stylus R200. It will not print. When I try and install the printer in "Printers and Scanners", the only option offered is for an Epson dotmatrix printer or a Fax. I installed Epson updater but it does not work. My computer cannot install anysoftware or firmware for the printer.

The appropriate software for the printer is listed as being available on the internet, yet it will not install. How can I print from the Epson Stylus Photo R200? Help, please.
