Is there a way to dismiss a new notification on the Apple Watch single-handedly (like a shake gesture or something)? Many times I'm wearing gloves when a new notification comes in and need to dismiss it promptly to get back to the home watch face so I can see the second hand on the watch face.

You may need to buy some gloves that have an e-tip that allows you to use devices without removing the glove.
Have you gone to settings>>general>accessibility and set up something?
Thank you for the quick reply! Unfortunately, the article doesn't address my need. I'd like to see the notification when it arrives, but I'd like to find a way to dismiss it quickly and single-handedly (like shaking the wrist or something). With gloves on, I can't really touch the watch face or the crown to dismiss the notification quick enough. Thank you though!
I did check in accessibility and I didn’t see anyway to create some sort of shortcut.
They’re medical gloves used during procedures.
