wave plugins are not in stereo. Only in mono..help!

It might sound obvious, but is the the channel definitely stereo? (Make sure you've checked the two circles as in the pic below - a stereo channel should have two meters).

Sometimes when you add a mono audio file to a stereo channel, the channel will automatically default to a mono channel. Also if a channel starts out mono, & you add mono plugins, but then subsequently switch the channel to stereo, you will only be presented with the m>s option you describe. (If you take off all mono plugins, you should get the stereo options back for plugins).

If this happens when you try to insert a plugin on a stereo track, then there's a reason to be worried. However, as pointed out by F~L~E~X~I~S, it might happen because the track is mono. If it's the former, then I'd follow Brian's advice and get in touch with Waves tech support.

Does Logic offer a "Mono -> Stereo" option when you load a plugin?

I had a similar issue. I wrote to waves and they gave me a detailed step by step instruction.

You might have to clean and delete all waves software and re-install afresh.

But first email WAVES . The customer care are very good from my experience and they will give you step by step instructions to solve it, hopefully!
