images in photos on my Mac that have gps data have that data removed when I send the photo to my iPad.

This problem only happens moving images from the Mac to an iOS device by airdrop, messaging or email etc.

The original images came from my iPhone and uploaded to the Mac by cable, so I know the gps data is good.

I am using the Mac to edit the photos but when transferring back to the phone/ipad the gps data has gone.

I assume it is a setting on the Mac preventing the location data from being sent.

any thoughts?
