Suddenly Having Strange Behavior with YouTube App on my IPhone 6S+
Hello.
I have the 6S+ with 64GB and have had the YouTube app on it for a LONG TIME, prolly since shortly after getting the phone. I cannot remember having any problems at all with it until just recently, the last week or 2.
Whenver I watch a video, usually in Landscape position, about every minute or so the screen will darken and the controls for starting and stopping the video will appear on screen. After 5 seconds or so, it will go off and return to the normal video viewing. The video doesn’t ever stop or anything, it keeps playing.
When you touch the screen while a YouTube video is playing, the Screen turns kinda gray and the pause control appears to give you the option to pause the video or let it continue to play. This is what is going on with mine only I’m NOT ever touching the screen. That gray screen just pops up.
It also happens in Portrait viewing mode as well.
Ive restarted my phone and closed out everything that was running or had been running. I cleared all the apps that come up when I double press the HOME button 2 times quickly.
I don’t know what else to do.
Anyone have ave any ideas what is going on here? Any suggestions on what I can do to straighten it out?
This is is really annoying as YouTube is the most used app I have, other than Safari web browser.
Please help if you can. Thank you kindly.
