IOS 12 copy paste problem

It's not a UNBELIEVABLE I CAN'T WORK WHEN THIS HAPPENS kinda problem I'm having but it is truly an annoyance, I copy a link or password to access a site for a research project at school and then my phone won't paste, maybe it will do it the first time to access the site but trying it twice? in succession??? it never works. Like yesterday I had timestamps for a youtube video copied, I don't want to say it was truly tasking to watch a one hour long video to find certain points for time-stamping but when you check in the morning to see that what you thought you posted didn't actually post then remember that that was the last thing you copied was the time stamps you get excited,, but NO! Your phone has the gosh darn audacity to not have the thing still copied????

Also it seems to be that I'll paste it once and the t won't work, I'll copy it and then it won't paste, or I'll copy it, paste it however many times I want and then check back a couple hours later and see that whatever I had on my clipboard is now gone.

My guest is that Apple wants to promo its own auto-copy two step verification code when using Safari.

It is a cool feature but not cool enough to push you to change from Chrome to Safari , so they are trying to make even harder to use chrome by not letting you copy the code in order to make that auto-copy even more attractive. If Apple idea of innovation is to make it harder to use competitors products (exp. GOOGLE Map VS PLAN ) to promote their own, they will eventually loose marketshare ....

Even after updating to 12.0.1 this copy and paste problem STILL REMAINS!!!!

Same, I past text messages all the time and I can’t get it to work. Fine the first time then later on, no paste shows up. Hope they fix it. So frustra

I would suggest, if you have not already, installed iOS 12.1.

Seems to work great with iOS 12.1.

Hi, I can copy and paste multiple times but then the clipboard seems to erase after a brief period of time. Is this apples idea of 'security' feature. No thank you.

iPhone X copies plain text characters as a text file. Unable to paste copied plain text because iOS will only paste as a file and not the plain text characters.

Got to be fixed, because I just tried it and it is a real pain in the !#@!

Having same issue with iPhone 8 and iOS 12.1.2
