I have my email notify me on my watch this has worked great for years. I recently upgraded to watch OS5 and IOS12 and now it doesn't work. I still get notifications on text messages and other apps on my watch but not email.
I have reset watch and phone but still not luck. Any ideas on how to fix would be appreciated.
I have been having an issue with no mail notifications on my Apple Watch 3 with iPhone X with Gmail on Exchange. Someone on here very kindly suggested I look at the watch app/notifications/mail and set it to mirror my iphone, and then on the iphone settings go to Notifications/mail and ensure you allow notifications from VIP and Favourite Mailboxes.
That fixed it for me.
Failing that, if you are a Gmail user just use the Gmail app - that works fine with notifications on Apple Watch.
I don’t know for you, but the new OS didn’t help at all my issues.... frustrating!!!!!

However this solution didn’t last long. I finally called Apple Support and was told they were aware of the problem, and it was considered an “emergent issue.” Whatever that means.

Same issue here. iPhone X and Apply Watch 4, all up to date. No notifications from Mail. All other notifications are working perfectly.

Nope. Didn’t fix it. Apple doesn’t know what’s wrong
Had the same notification issue since September I think. Suddenly it started Working correctly without any Update or config change. Strange. Anybody made the same experience ?
