Email Notifications on Apple Watch not working since IOS upgrade

The update did not make any difference for me either I'm sorry to say. I may rake one more punt at resetting the watch but I really don't have much faith in that fixing things.

Still seeing a lot of people posting that are having the same issue so when is someone going to step up and acknowledge this?

I have had this issue with my Apple Watch 3 since long before the iOS12 and WatchOS 5 updates.

As of yesterday, I have a brand new Apple Watch 4 and it's the same thing with that. I have tried numerous troubleshooting suggestions on both the Series 3 & Series 4 from this forum and nothing has worked.

I now make sure my iPhone is not on silent incase I miss a email from work.

Same here!! No sound notifications whatsoever. I even spent another valuable hour of my life allowing Apple to grab diagnostics from my watch/phone - which I’m not keen on but may help. It’s just SO frustrating. It worked perfectly - how hard can it be to reverse what you’ve Mucked (restraint) up??? I think I’ve spent more time on this issue than Apple have - I asked for something in return for my time, information and diagnostic data - nah, not even a £5 voucher. All take - no give. I’m getting angry now .......

Mine worked for a few minutes then stopped. Packing it down and returning it. Not paying 500 + euros with one of the main features I bought it for having a mind of its own. The few times it did work I got no sound or vibration. Frustrating !!

I have been having a similar issue with not receiving the red dot notification on my apple watch 3 from my exchange email. Although yesterday afternoon it began working and this morning I received the red dot and haptic for one email but not the other two that I received. Now it is not working again. I have not changed anything on my phone or anything. Sometimes the notification setup changes on it's own. Sooooo frustrating!! I rely on checking my watch so I don't have to find my phone & open it up so see if I got another email. Seems to be something with the entire OS 5.0 series.

Same here. iPhone 8+ and apple watch 4. I can receive email notifications on both iPhone and watch with vibrate for all my email accounts for a while, and then for some unknown reasons my watch doesn't receive any email notifications (not red dot and no vibrate) since I didn't change any settings. Tried anything: rebooted both devices, turned off notifications and turned back on with same settings when it works good as before. Help please!!

What I found interesting is that email notification works on iwatch when iPhone has a pending update to be installed. So whenever it starts notifying me for my new emails I know apple has released a new update. Funny bug huh. It’s been several updates already apple still hasn’t fixed the problem for watch 3 paired with iPhone 7. Not funny any more.

Same problem here, iPhone x and Watch 3 LTE, iOS 12 and WatchOS 5

All notifications are working well, only no Email notifications. All settings are correct

Same here. iPhone XS Max and Watch 4. No mail notification on watch.

Cannot get email notifications to work on my watch and was hoping that 12.1 and 5.1 would remedy. Have called support but they couldn’t help.

Finally it’s working. For all accounts I have set all notifications and working on watch as should. IPhone XS Max 12.1 and watch 5.1.
