Do you mean the earbuds or headphones that are wired? I'm confused what you're really referring to. When you say external speakers, do you mean the speakers built into the phone?
Back your phone up. Log into iTunes from your Mac or PC and do a Restore using iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes. Log out of iCloud on your phone then do the restore. Mine has been working for 3 days straight.
I am having the same issue on my iPhone XS
I am having the same issue. No sound comes out of the top speaker unless I’m in a phone call.
Feel free, that is why there is a return period.
I was trying to avoid that but I’ll have to try it. It’s to much louder with both speakers working properly.
Seems like a software probablem more than anything else.
Hoping apple is aware...
Turning mine off and on fixed it.
I also restarted my phone but the issue came back the next day. i restarted it again and i am waiting for it to stop again.
Same. It eventually comes back. But it seems to be going longer in between before it starts again.
I'm having the same issue. Playing music, videos, etc. only results in sound through the BOTTOM speaker. Doing a soft reset fixes the issue, but the problem popped back up.
Oh hopefully it will stay fine , thx for ur video , I’ve watched more than once actually, and thx for ur quick response, definitely will keep u updated :)
Fingers crossed:)
