Poor iPhone XS reception on Verizon

Remove the case and see what happens.

If that doesn't help, then you need to contact verizon.

Having the same issues keep getting WiFi connection is poor while sitting next to my router and I can’t make a phone call inside my house had no problems with any other iPhone I’ve had
