Mojave Login Issues

I'm having the same error when trying to set the boot mode to both SAFE and VERBOSE. When I try to boot in SAFE mode on Mojave 10.14, it just sits forever once it fills the progress bar with the Apple logo. Apple support was unable to diagnose, of course. Did you ever figure out how not to get the iokit error or how to invoke bootargs correctly?

I was eventually able to reboot into Safe and Verbose mode and it really did take a VERY long time to get through the sequence... so it wasn't just hung, it just appeared that way having nothing but an Apple logo and progress bar to judge what was going on.

Hi, im a newbie to the whole terminal and commands stuff, but i have managed to find some directries, although none of them contain any razer files...
once on the terminal, i used the command: ls /Library .this will show you what the other folders in the library, and using the same command, only adding the rest of the directory, for (example: ls /library/Audio) i was able to navigate to the provided by others on this page. my nly problem is that there are no razer files there.

I am having the same issue for the last 24 hours: after logging in with correct credentials, the MacBook Pro flashes once, then reverts to the white apple on black background with progress bar, reopens to login screen.

I had Mojave on this machine before (more than a month) and last night I updated to 10.14.1. It's been giving me trouble ever since.

Other than that, the only change I made was to go to 2-factor authorization. No other software installed. I do not have any 3rd party audio plugins or extensions.

Same issue here on my imac. Fortunately I have my little macbook. Happens with all accounts, am checking the disk now.

and just reinstalled at apple supports' instruction. no joy. restoring from backup right now.

I have the same problem. I get in for maybe 5 seconds and it logs me out. Is there anyway I can download High sierra and just fresh install back to it? I tried to reinstall but it just does mojave.

My problem looks like an issue with Boom 3D. Could not hear sound when using iTunes, so disabled app and sound came back and seem to speed up boot time.

The last command line worked for me. 🙂 change rmbp for whatever your HD is named, if you had chroma 7.1 this line should work
