Email stating payment failed

Got an email stating payment had failed for my iCloud subscription.

So I check my bank account and there is credit in there..

I go into my payment details in my Apple ID and it asks me to update details so I put in my card expiry date and CCV number.. processes then says invalid payment method!!


Any help please?

Apple ID payment information - If your payment method is declined, or you have a billing issue with a previous purchase in the iTunes Store


If necessary, contact iTunes Support. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option.
