Single sign-on and key chain issues

I am one of two Mac users in an organisation using Windows and have been experiecing some issues when I have to change my password. I can reset my password okay and can access email and servers okay, but if restart my laptop, I cannot log back into my user account.

The only way I can log back into my account is by having our IT guys log into the admin account and leaving it it logged in.

When the password has been changed, and I log back in, Key Chain asks if I would like to update my login key chain, which I have done. I think the problem does lie with the key chain somewhere, as my co-worker who also works on a MacBook Pro, set up in the same way, has not experienced this problem.

I am using a MacBook Pro is a 15 inch 2017 model running Mac OS X 10.13.6.

My user account is standard non-admin mobile account, binding to AD network.

MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6), 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM
