Installed Mac OS Mojave yesterday, my printer (Samsung M2070) cannot scan any kind of document. The problem is that it returns an error when I try to scan with JPEG, TIFF etc.
Anyone find a workaround? All functions of the printer work great in High Sierra.

Same here: I have a Samsung C460W (basically the same as Stargoose above) and it's not scanning as it should. It does all the preview steps, scan and fails when trying to save as image (PNG, JPEG, etc.) with an error message.
If I choose PDF, it succeeds in saving a file, which is corrupted and can't be opened by any app (Preview, Acrobat or any other). It's connected via WiFi to my LAN. Prior to Mojave, it was working fine.
I've tried removing all the printers and adding again: useless.
On the other hand, using the provided software (Samsung Easy Printer Manager, v1.02.07 (2015-07-06)) the scanner works perfectly.
When will Apple release a statement/solution for this matter?
Same for me on CLX-6260 multi-function laser printer/scanner. Now reduced to just a printer 😠

I installed the beta 4 of 10.14.1 update and the scanner is no working anymore.
I think we need to wait for 11.14.2... 😟
The same here with HP multifunction! Minutes ago in 10.13 I simply had SCANNER TAB, now in 10.14 after it offered me a dedicated driver install there is no SCANNER anymore! :-(

Grrr, the SDC doesn't have an option for scanning multiple pages from the document feeder, to produce a PDF document.
Same issue with Mojave 10.14 and scanning with Samsung C480FW (firmware: V3.00.01.18 SEP-09-2016).
Before OSX upgrade all was totally fine.
what scanner are you using?
thinking about buying a new "All-In-One"-machine.
new cartridges are about the same price as a new printer and ink is down :-)

This worked for me. Although Samsung Easy Printer isn't so easy to use. After struggling a few minutes, I was able to scan a few pages... What a relief! Many thanks for this suggestion.
The same problem with Samsung C480W after intalling Mojave.
