No imei on Apple Watch 4

My new Apple Watch does not have an imei number?! How do I get one so that I can activate it?

This is something that AT&T does too. They keep trying to make you factory reset the watch and set up as new only for this issue to persist. It is 100% a carrier issue. To the people saying "is it on the box" of course it is, but the point is that since the carrier settings flow through to the device by 'deactivating' the SIM it removes the IMEI from the device settings. By activating it on their end it brings the IMEI back up. I've had to do this 3 times with AT&T just going back and forth on why they screw up the cellular all the time for these things. I've ended up calling Apple tech support and they will reach out to one of the technicians on the carrier side, explain the issue and often the steps to fix, and then the Apple tech will connect you to the carrier tech and they will walk through what to do. Often, this problem is resolved with something as simple as a setting change on the carrier side. In BeagleIL's case they just had to 'force' activation. AT&T had to do the same thing too.

ALSO: If carrier tech support is telling you that the "SIM on the Watch is burnt" or it was a "one time use" thing then they do not know what they are talking about. E-SIMs aren't the same as a SIM card and they are wrong in telling you that you need to go to Apple to get the device replaced.

Also check the device serial number on the box and check against the device itself. The markings on the box and missing data in the device when taken together should be exactly what you need when you Contact Apple Support and arrange to get a manufacturing failure swapped out. If you are still within 14 days from collecting or delivery you should be entitled to a brand new replacement rather than a service swap-out - otherwise the 14 day return for refund and adverse publicity may get threatened.

Some from my side but withouth trying to activiate via esim. Because the old contract is running and I have to wait untli December. But without trying to activate LTE functionality I have this unknown issue.

If reset the connection between iphone and watch and connect it again it's working until I shut down the watch and switch it on. Additional I recognized that there is an issue with wifi. If I have the unknown in the watch and app for IMEI I also have to enter everytime I try to connect my home wifi the password.
