Phone calls drops + wi-fi issue on Iphone XS max

I have the same issue.

when I leave home (at home connected with wifi) i turn on LTE, it says "could not activate cellular data network" while data LTE is on.

Also, ( while lte is on) when i make a call, call fails, and cant receive calls too. I am in US with T-mobile. I called T-mobile several times, they can't fix the problem there no issue on their side - saying it's Apple issue and need to contact them. so hoping to solve thru this forum or Apple expert will shade light on this issue. I have iphonexs bought in Jan 2019.

Okay, I’m going for it, trying James1244’s fix on my XR. This is my first iPhone. I own all Apple computers, laptops, iPads. Just wanted to keep a Droid to have variety. Broke down and got this frickin XR to upgrade and have regretted it from Day 1. Hope it works.

It’s happening to me also. I’m glad it’s not just my phone I thought there might have been a issue with the XS Max.

Hello Alex, I am also having this issue. Did you find any resolution? Apple nor Verizon has been able to help me.

So.... this keeps happening and it’s quire annoying. Happens on outgoing calls and incoming ones. How do I fix this!!!

I also have this problem, but with the smaller Xs. If this persists I am returning the phone for a new one.

The 12.0.1 update did not fix the problem. By the way the issue is only with phone calls. It streams music/data perfectly. Just drops out phone calls

I do not have this issue...maybe because I'm using Samsung Galaxy S8.

I think that the IPhone X’s max is a Lemon.

Interestingly, when I asked Apple Support (via phone) they had never heard of the problem. 🤔.

How do we get this issue escalated so Apple take the issue seriously?

The lady had Telstra had never heard of the problem of calls dropping. I am going into the Apple shop tomorrow to see what they say?
