iMovie 9.0.9 no window MacOS Mojave

I have updated to MacOS Mojave. I can launch iMovie 9.0.9 but no window shows up.

I wonder if anyone is having the same problem and if there is a solution.

TIA

It was only working unreliably in El Capitan for me and would crash regularly on Sierra. It was not really usable and when I checked with Apple, they no longer supported it in Sierra. I have a Macbook Pro for which I have a bootable external drive with Mavericks - all the older iMovie, iDVD, Final Cut Express, and other apps work very well with that setup.
