upgrade osx 10.14, samsung scx 4300 no scan

Please help me I can't scan on my printer after upgrade. Tried different modes but with no result. Scan is going but file can't save or can't be opened (as pdf).

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), macOS Mojave (10.14)

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with your Samsung scanner. You mention that the scan goes, but the file can't be saved or opened. Are there any alerts or error messages?


I was able to find your printer in this list, and it does have the scan option as well: Printer and scanner drivers for Mac - Apple Support


I checked for an updated driver, but did not find one, but the link here: Welcome to HP Customer Support


States than you may be able to find an updated driver using the App Store.


The Mac App Store (in English) provides downloadable software and driver solutions for your Mac.



Please check for any updates in the App Store: How to update the software on your Mac - Apple Support


If there isn't an update available and you still have issues, you may need to contact HP or Samsung to see if they can provide the correct driver. Also, if you are receiving an alert or error message when trying to save or open the scanned file, that may provide more info about the issue. Please provide the alert to us exactly as you receive it.
