Cannot install any .pkg package

Hi,

Updated to Mojave Monday and today spotted strange issue - cannot install any .pkg file. After license acceptance and destination I click on "install" and nothing happened.

Tried various installers from various vendors, like Microsoft so on.

Any idea?

Hey there, Mik!

It sounds like you're having trouble installing .pkg files after updating your macOS software to Mojave. I'm happy to help!

There could be a few things going on. From what you've described, I would suggest checking your permissions to start: Resolve issues caused by changing the permissions of items in your home folder - Apple Support .

If you're still having trouble after that, see if you can install the files in safe mode: Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac - Apple Support . Then, test in a new user: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac - Apple Support .

Cheers!
