MacBook Pro keeps rebooting after Mojave install

Doesn't seem to be related to heat. Tried again this morning after leaving it off overnight - same issue, but now it's restarting almost immediately after attempting to log in. Unusable.

I know for sure that’s not heat to cause it, mine crashed today while beeing cold!

Macbook Pro 2015 rebooting all the time with Mojave. It is useless. Has to be fixed. Won't sleep on closing of lid as well. The spotlight fix suggested did not work for me.

I did the spotlight thing. it did not fix my crashing issue.

This did not work for me btw with this app.. I'm starting to think I have a hardware issue.

PS. They ran software and hardware diagnostics that came back nothing. I'm at a loss.

And now, time to deal with the extremely sluggish Safari performance issues. Opening it makes everything painfully slow and laggy.

I’m starting to wonder if it’s a heat/cpu issue caused by the upgrade. After trying to fix it for about 20-30 minutes, I noticed the MAC was getting fairly hot along the bottom and the fans were going crazy. I shut it down and set the Mac on top of a floor vent while the AC was on. Cooled it off fairly quick and I was then able to start it up and work for about 15 minutes before it started crashing again. I’m hoping I can boot to recovery mode and reinstall later today.

FIXED! I disabled the spotlight search on my main drive Macintosh HD. The issue is related to indexing HDD. Go to system prefenrences Spotlight Privacy and add Macintosh HD to your Dont search list. This will stop indexing and you can use your Mac, until Apple solves this problem.

Hi all, I'm sorry to tell you that I've been trying all those and many more during months with no success. I've been able to change the way that the reboots happen but they're still there! For example, now my Mohave is stable for hours but if I try to reboot or switch off/on it's again a nightmare, it keeps rebooting and luckily in one of them it gets through. After all my research I'm almost sure that it's a graphic problem and so nothing we can do if devs do nothing. Now, I'm strongly considering to go back to previous osx. I have a MacBook air 2013, reboots after logged in. Can't do anything, can't stop any background apps..

So I went ahead to install fresh Mojave, by restarting and hold Option+Cmd+R. Activated Internet recovery.. Deleted all partitions, created new. Took more than a night to install fresh.

Same reboot issue after created account and logged on. So I confirmed that this is not about incompatibility with old softwares.

Went to safe boot, press and hold Shift and restarted. It rebooted after logged in again..

My conclusion, OS issues with my hardware.

Now I am looking ways to reinstall Mountain Lion (DVD) or High Sierra..

It managed to boot in successfully without rebooting..

You might want to remove CleanMyMac and install Malwarebytes instead, otherwise you will end up with popups and alerts pretending to be viruses on your devices and so on.
