Genius Bar - Northpark Apple Store

I need to schedule an appointment with the Genius Bar to get my new computer (MacBook Pro) loaded with my backup from my older Mac Book Pro. Something is not working with my MYBOOK. Thanks Catherine

Data seems to be missing from a migration to new Mac Mini I transferred data from my 2016 MacbookPro to the new Mac Minin, using migration assistant. It seems to have made a backup of a backup. Backup My Mac was backing up fine to an external hard drive until about a month ago. I purchased a new external hard drive and my Mac won't recognize it. How do I get this fixed so I can continue having my Mac backup to the External Hard drive.

The problem is my backup disk uses a USB port and the new MacBigSur does not have a USB port my backup disk uses a USB port and the new MacBigSur does not have a USB port. How do I access the backup disk on the new computer, which doesn't have a USB port
