Hello SebasOl23,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you have some video distortion when viewing videos on your MacBook Pro. I would start with resetting NVRAM on the MacBook. This support article will walk you through the process:

macOS Sierra: Reset your computer’s NVRAM or PRAM

If this doesn't resolve the issue, some additional information could help with the resolution.
1. Does this distortion occur with other applications or function or just when viewing a video?
2. Does this happen with all videos or just some videos?
3. Is the distortion in one portion of the display or over the whole display?

Best regards.

I just purchased a MacBook Pro 15" with all the bells and whistles (MBP 15.4 SL/2.2GHZ/16GB/RP555X/256GB) in September 2018 for my granddaughter. She shared information about a video problem just after the first two weeks of ownership. I watched a number of YouTube and other Videos on her computer and saw that randomly during many videos a horizontal scratchy band appears and disappears, lasting just milliseconds. The distortion looks exactly like an old video tape player that needs the head cleaned. Does anyone else have this issue, or anyone know what steps to take to mitigate this?
