Since the OSI12 my text messages to my husband have been going to my son or the other way around. We have made sure there is no call forwarding, linking or anything. I have deleted the contacts and messages and it is still happening.
For example
Text Mike make sure it has the correct phone number, hit send and Nathan's information comes up as where the conversation happened.
Please help really don't want this to happen to other contacts.

In addition, I would suggest to you to use family sharing instead of configuring the same Apple ID on all devices:

Apple IDs are not designed to be shared between different people, so it may lead to some weird situations as you described

I have seen similar behaviour on my wife's iPhone, is there a chance they switched SIM cards for a while and then switched back? in that case, iPhone remembers the old number(from the other SIM) and you need to re-sync iMessage on their iPhones by going to Settings->Messages then turn off iMessage, wait couple minutes, maybe restart their phones and then switch back again.
It worked for me.

What I meant is to turn of iMassage on their phones, not yours. Sorry if I wasn’t clear.
Anyway, please see my response to anniemoose, I missed the part where you said that they share Apple ID. iMessages are stored in iCloud now and synced between all devices that share same iCloud account
Try to disable Messages sync in iCloud settings on their phones, that should work for you.
Settings->[their name]->iCloud->Messages.
But I still suggest to use separate Apple IDs
We are having the exact same issue at our house. 3 numbers on one Apple ID, my phone automatically updated and now I can't even text my husband! Everything goes to our teenage son. We have jumped through all the hoops and nothing has solved the problem.
Same account, but messages and phones are not sharing ids.

Ok turned off iMessage for a few hours. It didn’t work plus for some reason I never received any messages that were not my husband or son during that time.

Yes, that exactly what happened to my wife, I still suggest to disable/enable iMassege on their phones, it forces the phones to send an authentication message to Apple, that way they link your phone number to an iCloud account
In any case it worth a try, definitely won’t make it worse :)
Do they share an Apple ID? Do they have messages set to be received at a phone number and an email address?
