Then you’re inviting users to turn off the message and they might not have as good a memory as yours. They’ll miss an important call and complain loudly on this forum.

Not a valid response. One fault in iOS doesn’t make the whole device incompatible with the user. That response was unhelpful.

I didn't think DND let any messages through, just calls. How did you set up to allow messages through?

I agree. The old Apple would have told those that can't walk and chew bubblegum at the same time to stop whining about forgetting the DND is on. Especially since there are ways to customize DND for time ranges and allowing certain calls through.

I do like that Apple is listening a little more to their user base but it's unfortunate they haven't quite got down the ability to decide which requests from groups of people are silly and which aren't. Sometimes the majority is wrong and numbers won't tell you that a certain group of people all lack the same common sense.

It's like asking your kid in the back seat to put their feet into your chair when you're driving every 2 mins to remind you they're still back there so you don't forget and leave them in the car.
