iPhone XS Max Sync Issue

I own an iPhone XS Max (iOS 12) and I am trying to Sync all my Data with iTunes (12.8.0.150) on a MacBook Pro.

Unfortunately I am failing to do so even after trying many suggestions that I had in the forums. Any help is highly appreciated.

Can you sync an iPhone SE with iTunes using High Sierra? I have just ordered an iPhone SE. My MacBook Pro is from mid 2010, just updated to OS High Sierra, which is the most recent it will take. Am I going to be able to sync my new iPhone on this MBP?

Can't Sync. my iPhone 6 to my iMac ( High Sierra 10.13.6 )? When in iTunes, the Sync program sits at Step 2 Backing Up. Tried restarting my Mac. No good!
