iPhone XS Max & Apple HDMI Lightning Adapter

My new iPhone XS Max 512GB w/iOS 12 does not work with my official Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter. I cannot get any video output/mirroring etc.

Confirmed against my old iPhone 6s Plus w/iOS 12, and it is working perfectly.

Has anybody else seen this issue?

Do we know if Apple is aware of this issue?

Thanks!

Still having the same problem after talking to Apple and going to the Apple Store to see if they knew what the problem is. They said is a software problem and that I need to call apple to let them know so they can come with an update. They also told me to leave a feedback on Apple.com

Hopefully people start doing this so we can get the update soon

Try this if you are still having issues. Go to Settings- Face ID & Passcode. Scroll down to USB Accessories and toggle on. Restart phone. Note that this was a new security measure to prevent phone tampering through the lightening port when somebody does not know your passcode (ie. Law Enforcement bypassing your passcode).
