Mojave stuck on ‘setting up icloud’ screen.

Installation OK but can’t get betond setting up iCloud screen On my Mac Pro. Back and Continue are greyed out. Has been whirling for over an hour. Internet connection is strong. I don’t use two factor authentication. also have iPhone, iPad, iMac and MacBook Pro.

icloud set up not working. Wheel just spins & spins I'm trying to set up Icloud on my home IMac but the set up wheel just spins and spins for hours. 12 hours recently. Trying restarting the Mac and signing out then re-signing back in 5-10times with no luck. Anyone have any ideas ??? Also I presume Icloud works across all MacOS types.?? My work OS is High Sierra whereas my home Mac is El-capitan and I have to keep it like that for work/office software limitations....

Apple Icloud not setting up after installation I have an ongoing issue with my Apple Imac. we have had it from day one. When I try to connect to Icloud and set it up on the computer, the Icloud cannot connect. It doesn't matter if I do it through the "installation of mojave" or after the installation of Mojave. Interestingly, the computer becomes "approved" as a device on the Apple ID page. Some services will work (Calendar and notes) but others don't (Notably Keychain and Icloud Drive). Trying to uninstall and reinstall did not rectify the problem. Neither has using alternative apple Id's (like my son's or spouse's). I have tried resetting the memory also. Any help would be appreciated.

Sign Out of iCloud on MacBook Pro won't work, just endless spinning wheel. I'm trading in my 2013 MacBook Pro 15" Retina with Catalina and only have a couple hours left (borrowing a friend's power cable because mine broke), and the last thing I need to do is sign out of iCloud and restore the MacBook to factory settings. However when I click on Sign Out in the Overview section, the little gray wheel just spins endlessly and never finishes signing me out. I've force-quit, tried again, rebooted, uninstalled Sophos, and even turned off Screen Time (another forum suggested that), but nothing. Can I simply skip this step and tell the MacBook to erase all data and restore to factory or MUST I finish this broken Sign Out process? Is this a known issue with Catalina?
