i cant tape a voice memo on my macbook pro how to actovate it?

i just have downloaded the new mojave software and im trying to record a voice memo over my mybook pro but it doesnt record my voice it is only making a horizontal line and when i play it there is no sound i see all my memos from the iphone in it but as i said i cant record from my mac...is there an activation? or a bg in the software?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013), iOS 12

i have found the solution: in system preferences/ sound/input/internal microphone is to apply so it is working now
